What sort of license is necessary?
The type of license you hold will determine what you can ride on and what you need training for. There are various categories of license that can be held at any given time.
You can find the relevant licensing guides on our page, The Law.
What clothes do I have to wear on the courses?
You don't need to go out and buy the latest motorcycling gear, but we do recommend some sturdy boots, preferably waterproof and padded gloves if you have them. A warm, waterproof jacket is essential, especially in winter. If you have waterproof leggings these can be worn over your trousers. Better still if you have any bottoms with protection, then wear them as well. We can supply a helmet if needed. Otherwise, get fitted up at a local motorcycle dealer to ensure the correct fit for your headsize.
